- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
e Director is authorized to suspend or revoke the license of any public weighmaster when a licensed public weighmaster has been convicted in any court of competent jurisdiction of violating any provision of this Chapter or of any regulation issued under authority of this Chapter.
