  • Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
  • Oath: A promise to tell the truth.
Any person who willfully and knowingly makes under oath any false statement in connection with any investigation by or proceeding before the Commission shall be guilty of perjury, and upon conviction, shall be subject to the penalty prescribed by law for the offense.TELECOMMUNICATIONS ACT OF 2004
