Terms Used In 12 Guam Code Ann. § 9305

  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.
Notwithstanding the general provisions of Title 11, Guam Code Ann., § 30107.1, and for the purposes of the initial deposit only, the funds contained in the Guam Visitors Bureau’s Bank of Guam Certificate of Deposit shall constitute the deposits for Fiscal Year 2009 and Fiscal Year 2010.
