- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
on trial of the issues joined in a contest which was filed before the hearing of a petition for probate and for the grant of letters testamentary or of letters of administration with the will annexed, as provided in Section 1601 of this Title, the Superior Court of Guam shall render judgment, either admitting the will to probate or rejecting it.
