Terms Used In 15 Guam Code Ann. § 4202

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • Personal property: All property that is not real property.
  • Probate: Proving a will
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
en it will benefit a ward to sell any of his real or personal property and to put out the proceeds at interest or invest the same in some productive stock or bonds, or in the improvement or security of any other real property of the ward, his guardian may sell the same for that purpose, subject to confirmation by the court as hereinafter provided. The particular investment or investments to be made must be specified in the order confirming the sale or authorizing the sale of stocks or bonds.
