personal property which will depreciate in value if not disposed of promptly, or which will incur loss or expense by being kept, together with a copy of such petition, application, account or proceeding, shall be mailed to such relative or attorney, at his stated post office address or personally served upon him, within two (2) days after the filing of such petition, account or application or the commencement of such proceed- ing.
