Terms Used In 17 Guam Code Ann. § 29101

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
The University of Guam (University or UOG) is authorized to establish a body corporate, the Research Corporation of the University of Guam (RCUOG or Corporation). The Corporation shall be a public corporation incorporated on Guam, and shall operate as an integral part of the University and may apply for a 501(c)(3) designation.
