Terms Used In 19 Guam Code Ann. § 2109
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
Any person within the jurisdiction of this territory who conducts himself in a proper and lawful manner is entitled to the full and equal ac- commodations, advantages, facilities and privileges of inns, restaurants, hotels, eating houses, places where alcoholic beverages, ice cream or soft drinks of any kind are sold for consumption on the premises, barber shops, bath houses, theaters, public conveyances and all other places of a public accommodation or amusement, subject only to the conditions and limitations established by law and applicable alike to all citizens, residents and other persons.
