(a) Except for those offered by a fraternal benefit society, every health care insurance service or health maintenance organization plan contract that provides hospital, medical, or surgical coverage shall also provide coverage for behavioral health treatment for autism spectrum disorder no later than October 1, 2017. The coverage shall be provided in the same manner and shall be subject to the same requirements as provided in 22 Guam Code Ann., Chapter 29.

(b) Except for a fraternal benefit society, every insurer, which shall include all insurance companies, health care service plans, health maintenance organizations, and any other entity delivering or issuing for delivery in Guam Medicare supplement policies or certificates licensed to do business on Guam, shall be subject to the provisions of this Chapter.
