Terms Used In Hawaii Revised Statutes 428-401

  • Intangible property: Property that has no intrinsic value, but is merely the evidence of value such as stock certificates, bonds, and promissory notes.
  • Limited liability company: means a limited liability company organized under this chapter. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 428-101

The contribution of a member of a limited liability company may consist of tangible or intangible property or other benefit to the company, including money, promissory notes, services performed, or other obligations to contribute cash or property, or contracts for services to be performed.
