  • authority: means the director, or any licensing board or commission under the administrative control of the director pursuant to section 26-9(c), authorized by statute to grant or to deny licenses. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 436B-2
  • Licensee: means the person in whose name the licensing authority grants a license. See Hawaii Revised Statutes 436B-2

Each licensee shall file with the licensing authority the licensee’s current mailing, business, and residence address. It shall be the licensee’s duty to provide written notice to the licensing authority of any change of address within thirty days of the change. Failure of the licensee to provide the notice shall absolve the licensing authority, executive secretary, or any designee from any duty to provide notice of any matter required by law to be provided the licensee.
