Terms Used In Idaho Code 41-1097

  • Limited lines travel insurance producer: means a person who is a limited lines producer as defined in section 41-1003, Idaho Code. See Idaho Code 41-1091
  • Travel insurance: means insurance coverage for personal risks incident to planned travel including, but not limited to:

  • Travel retailer: means a business entity that makes, arranges or offers travel services and may offer and disseminate travel insurance as a service to its customers on behalf of and under the direction of a limited lines travel insurance producer. See Idaho Code 41-1091
    • The limited lines travel insurance producer and any travel retailer offering and disseminating travel insurance under the limited lines travel insurance producer license shall be subject to the provisions of section 41-1016, Idaho Code, and other applicable provisions of this title. Violations of this act shall be considered an unfair trade practice under chapter 13, title 41, Idaho Code.
