Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 450/20.3

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
     Any circuit court in the State of Illinois, upon the application of the licensee, registrant, or of the Department, may, by order duly entered, require the attendance and testimony of witnesses and the production of relevant documents, books, files, records, and papers before the Department at any hearing relative to a disciplinary action and the court may compel obedience to the order by proceedings for contempt.
