Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 225 ILCS 450/7

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     A holder of an exam certificate, registration as a certified public accountant, or certification issued by the Board or Department shall not be entitled to practice public accounting, as defined in Section 8, in this State until the person has been licensed as a licensed CPA by the Department.
