  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     On and after August 1, 1937, it shall be unlawful for any warehouseman to receive, hold, store or deliver any alcoholic liquors without a certificate of registration from the Department. Application for a certificate of registration shall be made to the Department and shall state: (1) The name of the applicant; (2) the address of his warehouse (if he operates more than one such warehouse, he shall state the address of each such warehouse). Upon the receipt of the application in proper form, the Department shall issue to such applicant a certificate of registration bearing a distinctive number which he shall conspicuously display on the premises for which it is issued. The applications shall be made on forms prepared and furnished by the Department and shall contain such other information as the Department may reasonably require to carry out the provisions of this Act.
