Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 25 ILCS 100/2
- State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
The Clerk of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the Senate shall file the transcripts of debates in their respective houses with the Secretary of State who shall maintain them as a public record and make them available for public inspection as provided in “The State Records Act”, approved July 6, 1957, as amended.
