The System shall establish a page for electronic public access on the General Assembly’s website that provides information regarding discrimination and harassment, including, but not limited to:
         (1) the name and contact information for the ethics
    
officer for each caucus;
        (2) the name and contact information for the
    
Legislative Inspector General and information on how to file a complaint;
        (3) a direct link to the website of the Department of
    
Human Rights for harassment and discrimination and the Department’s hotline phone number; and
        (4) the name and contact information for the chief of
    
staff for each legislative caucus leader.
A direct link to the page required by this Section shall be included on the front page of the General Assembly’s website.

  • Caucus: From the Algonquian Indian language, a caucus meant "to meet together." An informal organization of members of the legislature that exists to discuss issues of mutual concern and possibly to perform legislative research and policy planning for its members. There are regional, political or ideological, ethnic, and economic-based caucuses.
  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
