Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 420 ILCS 5/7

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     All monies received by the Agency under this Act shall be deposited in the State Treasury and shall be set apart in a special fund to be known as the “Nuclear Safety Emergency Preparedness Fund”. All monies within the Nuclear Safety Emergency Preparedness Fund shall be invested by the State Treasurer in accordance with established investment practices. Interest earned by such investment shall be returned to the Nuclear Safety Emergency Preparedness Fund. Monies deposited in this fund shall be expended by the Agency to support the activities of the Illinois Nuclear Safety Preparedness Program, including activities of the Illinois State Police and the Illinois Commerce Commission under Section 8(a)(9), or to fund any other administrative or operational costs of the Agency.
