- Right of survivorship: The ownership rights that result in the acquisition of title to property by reason of having survived other co-owners.
When a certificate of title is made out to a husband and wife with the marital relationship shown on the certificate, it shall be presumed that the title is held as joint tenants with right of survivorship.
