Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 65 ILCS 5/11-123-23

  • Heretofore: means any time previous to the day on which the statute takes effect; and the word "hereafter" at any time after such day. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.17
  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     Sections 11-123-1 through 11-123-22 shall not be considered as impairing the provisions of “An Act to enable Park Commissioners having control of a park or parks bordering upon public waters in this State, to enlarge and connect the same from time to time by extensions over lands and the bed of such waters, and defining the use which may be made of such extensions, and granting lands for the purpose of such enlargements,” approved May 14, 1903, as heretofore and hereafter amended.
