  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
     Every person desiring to engage in the business of a mason contractor or employing mason within a municipality with a population of 500,000 or more, is required to obtain an annual license authorizing him to do so, in the manner provided by Sections 11-36-2 through 11-36-6. However, where a firm or corporation consists of more than one mason contractor or employing mason, it is not necessary for more than one member of the firm or corporation to procure a license.
