Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 70 ILCS 15/19

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
     All property, real, personal or mixed, owned by the Authority, which is located in the State of Illinois is exempt from taxation under the laws of the State of Illinois, to the extent that such property is used for public purposes, including uses directly related to the operation and maintenance of air transportation facilities and equipment.
