Terms Used In Illinois Compiled Statutes 805 ILCS 15/11

  • State: when applied to different parts of the United States, may be construed to include the District of Columbia and the several territories, and the words "United States" may be construed to include the said district and territories. See Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 70/1.14
  • Testimony: Evidence presented orally by witnesses during trials or before grand juries.
     Before any certificate of registration is suspended or revoked, the holder shall be given written notice of the proposed action and the reasons therefor, and shall be given a public hearing by the Department with the right to produce testimony concerning the charges made. The notice shall also state the place and date of the hearing which shall be at least 10 days after service of said notice.
