- half-staff: means the position of a flag when the flag is one-half (1/2) the distance between the top and bottom of the staff. See Indiana Code 10-18-9-3
Sec. 9. This chapter does not prohibit or otherwise limit the flying of other flags at half-staff under a separate gubernatorial proclamation.
