Sec. 12. (a) The commission may do the following:
(2) Manage the commission’s internal affairs.
(1) Sue and be sued.
Terms Used In Indiana Code 14-30-4-12
- commission: refers to the Upper Wabash River basin commission established by this chapter. See Indiana Code 14-30-4-2
- Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
(3) Employ staff.
(4) Enter into contracts to implement a cooperative agreement described in section 13 of this chapter.
(5) Exercise the powers of a political subdivision specified in a cooperative agreement described in section 13 of this chapter.
(b) This section does not exempt the commission from any statute.
