Sec. 8. The office shall do the following:
(2) Assist and advise members in completing the statement of economic interests required by IC 2-2.2-2.
(1) Assist and advise members in understanding the ethics rules of their respective houses.

- legislative council: refers to the legislative council established by Indiana Code 2-2.2-4-3
- office: refers to the office of legislative ethics established by section 5 of this chapter. See Indiana Code 2-2.2-4-4
(3) Assist and advise the ethics committees.
(4) Other duties relating to legislative ethics assigned by the legislative council.
