- Administrator: means a person who directly or indirectly and on behalf of an insurer underwrites, collects charges or premiums from, or adjusts or settles claims on residents of Indiana in connection with life, annuity, or health coverage offered or provided by an insurer. Sec. 9. Policies, certificates, booklets, termination notices, or other written communications delivered by an insurer to an administrator for delivery to its covered individuals shall be delivered by the administrator promptly after receipt of instructions from the insurer to do so.
