- insurance policy: means any policy, contract, subscriber agreement, rider, or endorsement delivered or issued for delivery in Indiana by an insurer, a fraternal benefit society, a nonprofit corporation, a health maintenance organization (as defined in IC 27-13-1-19), a limited service health maintenance organization (as defined in IC 27-13-34-4), a preferred provider arrangement, or any other organization. Sec. 16. All other applicable provisions of IC 27 not in conflict with the provisions of this chapter apply to insurance policies issued under this chapter. A long term care insurance policy issued under this chapter is not subject to any rule adopted under IC 27-1-3-7(c).
