Terms Used In Indiana Code 27-8-25-9
- covered individual: means an individual entitled to coverage under a policy of accident and sickness insurance. See Indiana Code 27-8-25-4
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
Sec. 9. This chapter does not create a cause of action against a person for any harm to a covered individual resulting from a clinical trial.
