Terms Used In Indiana Code 32-29-10-6

  • Lien: A claim against real or personal property in satisfaction of a debt.
  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
  • Statute: A law passed by a legislature.
   Sec. 6. Notwithstanding any other Indiana statute, the lien of a series mortgage may not be impaired or injured by the passage of time other than as provided in section 5 of this chapter.
