Terms Used In Indiana Code 32-29-8-2

  • Judgment: means all final orders, decrees, and determinations in an action and all orders upon which executions may issue. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Mortgage: The written agreement pledging property to a creditor as collateral for a loan.
   Sec. 2. A person who is assigned a mortgage and fails to have the assignment properly placed on the mortgage record is bound by the court’s judgment or decree as if the person were a party to the suit.
