Indiana Code 34-18-8-2. Fees

Sec. 2. The following fees must accompany each proposed complaint filed:

(1) A filing fee of five dollars ($5).

Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.

(2) A processing fee of two dollars ($2) for each additional defendant after the first defendant.
