administer: means the direct application of a legend drug by an optometrist to a patient. See Indiana Code 25-24-3-2

Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
dispense: means to deliver a legend drug to an ultimate user by or pursuant to a lawful order of an optometrist. See Indiana Code 25-24-3-5
Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
legend drug: has the meaning set forth in IC 16-18-2-199. See Indiana Code 25-24-3-6
optometrist: means an individual licensed as an optometrist under IC 25-24-1. See Indiana Code 25-24-3-7
prescription: means a written order or an order transmitted by other means of communication that is immediately reduced to writing by the pharmacist or, for electronically transmitted orders in accordance with Indiana Code 25-24-3-8
Year: means a calendar year, unless otherwise expressed. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
