Terms Used In Indiana Code > Title 5 > Article 26 > Chapter 2 - Integrated Public Safety Commission

  • commission: refers to the integrated public safety commission established under IC 5-26-2-1. See Indiana Code 5-26-1-1
  • Foreclosure: A legal process in which property that is collateral or security for a loan may be sold to help repay the loan when the loan is in default. Source: OCC
  • Lease: A contract transferring the use of property or occupancy of land, space, structures, or equipment in consideration of a payment (e.g., rent). Source: OCC
  • Personal property: includes goods, chattels, evidences of debt, and things in action. See Indiana Code 1-1-4-5
  • Personal property: All property that is not real property.
  • President pro tempore: A constitutionally recognized officer of the Senate who presides over the chamber in the absence of the Vice President.   • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
