- Person: means a natural person. See Iowa Code 154A.1
- Practice of pharmacy: is a dynamic patient-oriented health service profession that applies a scientific body of knowledge to improve and promote patient health by means of appropriate drug use and related drug therapy. See Iowa Code 155A.3
A person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter or any chapter pertaining to or affecting the practice of pharmacy for which a specific penalty is not provided commits a simple misdemeanor.
