Terms Used In Iowa Code 232.94B
- Child: means any person under the age of eighteen years. See Iowa Code 232.68
- Continuance: Putting off of a hearing ot trial until a later time.
- Court: means the juvenile court established under section 602. See Iowa Code 232.2
A court may grant a continuance in a child in need of assistance proceeding or a termination of a parent-child relationship proceeding only for good cause shown.
