Terms Used In Iowa Code 327D.45
- Department: means the state department of transportation. See Iowa Code 327D.2
- Railway: means a railroad as defined in subsection 3. See Iowa Code 327D.2
- Rates: means fares, tariffs, tolls, charges, and all classifications, contracts, practices and rules of common carriers relating to such rates. See Iowa Code 327D.2
The department may order a schedule of joint through railway rates for such traffic and on such routes as in its judgment the fair and reasonable conduct of business requires.
