- adjusted competitive bid threshold: means the same as the adjusted competitive bid threshold for vertical infrastructure applicable to counties as established by the state department of transportation pursuant to section 314. See Iowa Code 468.3
- Cost: means the same as defined in section 384. See Iowa Code 468.585
If the board determines that a change described in section 468.62 increases the cost of the improvement in excess of the adjusted competitive bid threshold, the work shall be let by bids in the same manner as is provided for the original construction of such improvements.
