1. A person shall not molest or disturb, in any manner, any den, lodge, or house of a fur-bearing animal or beaver dam except by written permission of an officer appointed by the director.
Terms Used In Iowa Code 481A.90
- Director: means the director of the department or the director's designee. See Iowa Code 481A.1
- Owner: means a person, other than a lienholder, having the property right in or title to a motorboat or vessel. See Iowa Code 462A.2
- Person: shall mean any person, firm, partnership, or corporation. See Iowa Code 481A.1
- property: includes personal and real property. See Iowa Code 4.1
2. This section does not prohibit the owner from destroying a den to protect the owner’s property.
