1. All hunting, fishing, and fur harvester licenses shall contain a general description of the licensee. Such licenses shall be upon such forms as the commission shall adopt. The address and the signature of the applicant and all signatures and other required information shall be in writing. All licenses shall clearly indicate the nature of the privilege granted.

Terms Used In Iowa Code 483A.18

  • Commission: means the natural resource commission created under section 455A. See Iowa Code 483A.1A
  • Department: means the department of natural resources created under section 455A. See Iowa Code 483A.1A
  • Donor: The person who makes a gift.
  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • License: means a privilege granted by the commission to fish, hunt, fur harvest, pursue, catch, kill, take in any manner, use, have possession of, sell, or transport all or part of a wild animal, bird, game, or fish, including any privilege related to a license granted by issuance of a stamp or a payment of a fee. See Iowa Code 483A.1A
  • Signature: includes an electronic signature as defined in section 554D. See Iowa Code 4.1
 2. Upon request of an applicant pursuant to section 483A.10, the department shall indicate on the license that the applicant is a donor under the revised uniform anatomical gift Act as provided in chapter 142C.
