Terms Used In Iowa Code 483A.24A

  • License: means a privilege granted by the commission to fish, hunt, fur harvest, pursue, catch, kill, take in any manner, use, have possession of, sell, or transport all or part of a wild animal, bird, game, or fish, including any privilege related to a license granted by issuance of a stamp or a payment of a fee. See Iowa Code 483A.1A
 Notwithstanding any provision of this chapter to the contrary, a service member deployed for military service, as defined in section 29A.1, subsection 3, shall receive a refund of that portion of any license fee paid by the service member representing the service member’s period of military service.
