Terms Used In Iowa Code 633.441
- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
- Clerk: means "clerk of the district court" in the county in which the matter is pending and includes the term "clerk of the probate court". See Iowa Code 633.3
Proof of service of the notice of disallowance shall be made by affidavit, shall show the date and place of mailing, and shall be filed with the clerk.
