Terms Used In Iowa Code 633.655
- Conservator: means a person appointed by the court to have the custody and control of the property of an adult under the provisions of this chapter. See Iowa Code 633.701
- Court: means , when referring to a court of this state, the district court sitting in probate with jurisdiction of conservatorships and guardianships. See Iowa Code 633.701
If a claim is founded upon a written instrument, the original of such instrument, or a copy thereof, with all endorsements, must be attached to the claim. The original instrument must be exhibited to the conservator or to the court, upon demand, unless it has been lost or destroyed, in which case, its loss or destruction must be stated in the claim.
