Terms Used In Iowa Code 633.80
- Decedent: A deceased person.
- Fiduciary: A trustee, executor, or administrator.
- Fiduciary: includes personal representative, executor, administrator, guardian, conservator, and the trustee of any trust described in section 633. See Iowa Code 633.3
A fiduciary has no authority to act in a matter wherein the fiduciary‘s decedent or ward was merely a fiduciary, except that the fiduciary shall file a report and accounting on behalf of the decedent or ward in said matter.
