Terms Used In Iowa Code 717F.13
- Dangerous wild animal: includes an animal which is the offspring of an animal provided in paragraph "a" and another animal provided in that paragraph or any other animal. See Iowa Code 717F.1
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
A person who intentionally causes a dangerous wild animal to escape in violation of this chapter is guilty of an aggravated misdemeanor.
