1. Own or possess a dangerous wild animal.
Terms Used In Iowa Code 717F.3
- Dangerous wild animal: includes an animal which is the offspring of an animal provided in paragraph "a" and another animal provided in that paragraph or any other animal. See Iowa Code 717F.1
- following: when used by way of reference to a chapter or other part of a statute mean the next preceding or next following chapter or other part. See Iowa Code 4.1
- person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
- Possess: means to own, keep, or control a dangerous wild animal, or supervise or provide for the care and feeding of a dangerous wild animal, including any activity relating to confining, handling, breeding, transporting, or exhibiting the dangerous wild animal. See Iowa Code 717F.1
- state: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" may include the said district and territories. See Iowa Code 4.1
2. Cause or allow a dangerous wild animal owned by a person or in the person’s possession to breed.
3. Transport a dangerous wild animal into this state.
