Terms Used In Iowa Code 810.9

  • nontestimonial identification: includes , but is not limited to, identification by fingerprints, palm prints, footprints, measurements, hair strands, handwriting samples, voice samples, photographs, blood and saliva samples, ultraviolet or black-light examinations, paraffin tests, and lineups. See Iowa Code 810.1
  • person: means individual, corporation, limited liability company, government or governmental subdivision or agency, business trust, estate, trust, partnership or association, or any other legal entity. See Iowa Code 4.1
 At the request of the person named or described in the application, the issuing court may modify a nontestimonial identification order with respect to time, place or manner of conducting the identification procedures if it appears reasonable under the circumstances to do so.
