Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-1253
- Board of education: means the board of education of unified school district no. See Kansas Statutes 12-1281
- Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
Any gift offered under provisions of this act shall be accepted only by formal action by resolution in the case of a board of education or ordinance in the case of a city. Such resolution or ordinance shall cite this act as authority therefor and shall recite the terms of the gift and the conditions thereof.
