Terms Used In Kansas Statutes 12-1780a
- City: means any city in Kansas. See Kansas Statutes 12-1795
- Governing body: means the governing body of any municipality. See Kansas Statutes 12-17,115
- Redevelopment district: means the specific area declared to be an eligible area in which the city may develop one or more redevelopment projects. See Kansas Statutes 12-1770a
The provisions of this act shall be applicable to redevelopment districts created after July 1, 2001, however, any city which has created a redevelopment district prior to the effective date of this act may, by an ordinance of the governing body, elect to have the provisions of this act apply to such.
