  • Amendment: A proposal to alter the text of a pending bill or other measure by striking out some of it, by inserting new language, or both. Before an amendment becomes part of the measure, thelegislature must agree to it.

A plan and any modification, amendment or extension thereof, when adopted by the board of directors after notice and hearing as provided in Kan. Stat. Ann. §§ 12-3407 or 12-3408, and amendments thereto, shall be final and conclusive and its validity shall be conclusively presumed.
